At least the American one is. Many of you may have heard of what's going on in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic book as of late.

Apparently, Sally (after discussing it with Bunnie) has chosen Monkey Khan over Sonic.

Cool. It's got the Fandom in an uproar on BumbleKing, Power Rings, and many other sites.

Since many of you know I'm a SonSal "shipper" (I use the term very loosely), you probably think this is going to be a rant on Ian Flynn, the writer of the book.

Well, I couldn't be happier to tell you the reverse.

I'm perfectly fine with what Ian's doing with KhanSal. Why?

It's exactly what Sonic and Sally need to kick off their relationship again.

Yeah, it would've been cool if Sally had chosen Sonic, but guess what? That would mean the romance aspect of the book would've ended for awhile. This KhanSal deal helps keep the book an action-adventure and a mushy-gushy love-dovey book at the same time.

I honestly wonder if people think Ian is mental. He's doing a good job, plus he's dropped sevral hints that our favorite couple would return. (i.e. Khan's leaving after the Iron Dominion Arc, his "Master Plan" regarding KhanSal, and not to mention StH #187 and 200).

Also, I don't think Ian's going to waste what he wrote in the aforementioned issues. It would be redundant, imho.

So overall, I hope you enjoyed this little..well..."anti-rant" for me.
